The Dokajin Funtua Engineer Tukur Lawal has called on the Katsina State Government to revisit the issue of pipe borne water reticulation network in Funtua township.
The Dokajin Funtua disclosed this to newsmen in an interview.
Engineer Tukur lawal explained that the water network project that was awarded several years ago, stand still as the water distribution system is epileptic across Funtua municipality.
He said there is the need for relevant authorities to review the project with a view to having impactful results.
The Dokajin Funtua who is an educationist, politician and a season administrator spoke at length on the need to actualize the project for the benefit of the general public.
He said although the State Governor Dr Dikko Umar Radda PhD con has performed very well at all levels in Funtua and the State, that these efforts should be sustained to address other problems facing the Society.
Engineer Tukur Lawal expressed gratitude to the Governor for establishing the Federal University of Medical and Heath Science in Funtua, which significantly changes the socio economic activities of the people in the area, easing and providing access to tertiary education to teaming youth in the zone and beyond..
He further called on the state government to hasten the renovation of the burnt Comprehensive Health Centre in Funtua, which is of great importance to people in Funtua and neighboring states.
Engineer Tukur Lawal commended the State Governor Dr Dikko Umar Radda PhD, CON for the construction of dual township roads in Funtua town and called on the people to reciprocate the gesture by supporting the Gwagwaren Katsina in his endeavours in steering our State to great and perpetual achievements.
