    The Adamawa state leadership of the African Democratic party,ADC has dismissed the rumor being peddled on some social media platforms that Ambassador Umar Suleiman, the governorship flag bearer of the party has been replaced.

    Recall that the state political atmosphere was saturated with speculation recently that an All Progressives Congress,APC stakeholder and governorship aspirant, Abdulrahaman Haske would replace Ambassador Suleiman after closing to emerge victorious in the APC party primaries in the state.

    Speaking at a press conference in Yola at the weekend, Hon.Abubakar Audu Girei,the Acting chairman of party (ADC) of Girei local governme nt area and spokesman of the 21 Acting party’s chairmen announced that the entire chairmen of party in the 21 local councils, three zonal vice chairmen of the party and some state executive members of the party have passed vote of confidence on the Barrister Ibrahim Sadiq Dasin led party leadership in the state.

    Audu Girei explained that the party remains intact and a big one family under the leadership of Barrister Dasin against all odds reiterating that Ambassador Umar Suleiman akai Omarana is the sole candidate for the governorship position in the forthcoming 2027 general elections.

    “ADC in Adamawa state is a big family under the stewardship of the Barrister Ibrahim Sadiq Dasin and Ambassador Umar Suleiman is our governorship hope in the 2027 election.

    “We are by this stakeholders meeting dismissing the speculation or rumors over replacement of our sole gubernatorial flag bearer in the person of Ambassador Umar Suleiman and we are assiduously working for his victory in the forthcoming election.

    “We urge the public to disregard the speculation being speculated on the social media platforms which was meant for political sympathy and gains by our opponents.We also call on our members and supporters to remain calm and focused.
