The Executive chairman of Zaria local government Eng Jamil Mohammad jaga has joined the leader of the state, the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, His Excellency Sen. Uba Sani, CON, who was represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Abdulkadir Mu’azu Meyere, alongside the Emir of Zazzau, His Royal Highness Amb. Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, senior government officials, district heads, and the Muslim Ummah to observe the Eid-el-Kabir prayers at the Malam Musa Eid Praying Ground.
A statement from the office of the Chairman said it was a moment of deep gratitude to Almighty Allah (SWT) for granting us the opportunity to witness this blessed occasion in good health, peace, and unity.
Eng Jamil Jaga prayed for the continued progress of Zaria Local Government, Kaduna State, and our dear nation, Nigeria, asking Allah to bless us with lasting peace, unity, prosperity, and divine guidance.
The Chairman also urge us all to sustain the spirit of sacrifice, love, prayers, and togetherness beyond the festive period, as these values remain essential to building a stronger and more united society.
Thereafter, I proceeded to the Emir’s Palace, where I witnessed the colourful and historic Hawan Sallah (Durbar Festival) led by His Royal Highness, the Emir of Zazzau. The magnificent display of culture, tradition, unity, and horsemanship continues to stand as a proud symbol of our rich heritage and identity as a people.
May Allah accept our Ibadah, forgive our shortcomings, and grant us Jannatul Firdaus.
