The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Education, Zaria, Prof Yahaya Isa Bunkure, received a courtesy visit from Senator Suleiman AbdulRahman Kawu Sumaila, OFR, Senator representing Kano South Senatorial District in the National Assembly.
A statement signed by Sani Lawal Maqarphy, media aide to the VC, said the Vice-Chancellor received the lawmaker today, 7th October, 2026, in his office.

Although no details were given for the visit, observers believe that the visit was a morale booster to the VC to encourage him to continue the good works he is doing at federal University of Education Zaria.
Both the Senator and the VC come from the same Senatorial zone, that’s Kano South Senatorial zone.
