The Katsina state governor Dr Dikko Umar radda PhD has been commended for quick response to the calls for resumption of local government gratuity payment for retired local government workers.
The ex mhwun chairman Comrd Mannir Mohd Sulaiman who made the call earlier, has now expressed his profound appreciation to the Governor Dr Dikko Umar radda PhD for prompt and immediate directives to continue the gratuities payment.
Comrade Mannir Mohd Sulaiman explained that following the resumption of the payment of gratuities,a lot of retired local government workers are thrown into happiness as they receive their alerts presently.
He said this act of kindness and listening ears by the governor is indeed a sign of good quality of leadership exhibited by the governor.
The ex chairman disclosed that Katsina state is experiencing a tremendous positive change in terms of provision of rural infrastructures as well as the urban renewal programme initiated by the incumbent governor Dr Dikko Umar radda PhD.
He said the people in the state owed it a duty to reelect the governor with a view to sustain the developmental projects that’s currently being executed across the state.
Comrade Mannir Mohd Sulaiman called on the beneficiaries of gratuities to make maximum utilisation of their gratuities and reciprocate the gesture through supporting governmental programs and policies.
