The Chairman Comrd Mannir Mohd Sulaiman said the level of banditry attacks in funtua township is now on daily basis which is unacceptable.
He explained that consistent attacks in the last two weeks have left several people injured,while others are killed, cattle rustled thereby crippling the commercial activities of the town.
Comrade Mannir Mohd Sulaiman said although relevant authorities are working tirelessly to contain the menace,there is the need for state governor Dr Dikko Umar radda to improvise emergency surveillance team with a view to protect lives and properties of the people in Funtua and state in general.
The Chairman also called on all critical stakeholders to team up with all well to people in Funtua to locally arrange for the needful to secure Funtua and it’s environs.
He said considering the forthcoming general elections,those elected in various offices should work hand in hand with all those concerned to bring the situation to a logical conclusion.
Comrd Mannir Mohd Sulaiman urged all religious groups to intensify prayers for divine intervention and for the safety of the citizenry.
