The Acting Commandant Nigerian Army College of Medical Sciences Brigadier General PO Aburime today has decorated four senior officers of the Medical Corps to the rank of Lieutenant Colonels. The event took place at the Officers’ Mess, located within the College.
A statement signed by Captain Adachukwu Onyinyechukwu OKWUKA Acting Assistant Director Army Public relations said the Commandant congratulated the beneficiaries on their well-deserved promotion, iterating that this new elevation is a call to more commitment, and responsibility. She equally urged them to remain focused and disciplined in carrying out their duties both professionally and personally as this new elevation must be reflected even in their personal lives.
The newly decorated officers are Lt Col MZ Yara, Lt Col AO Okunola, Lt Col PC Onyema and Lt Col JO Okunboh
Speaking on behalf of the celebrants, Lieutenant Colonel MZ Yara expressed appreciation to the Chief of Army Staff and the Commandant Nigerian Army College of Medical Sciences for their mentorship and support, pledging renewed dedication to the service of the nation.
Present during the occasion were the Deputy Commandant of the College, Staff Officers and a wide array of family members, friends and well-wishers.
The event concluded with a group photograph and refreshments.
