The Sardaunan funtua and Chairman NAK General Merchants LTD Alh Akilu Hassan Mohd has said that the urban renewal project introduced by governor Dr Dikko Umar radda PhD is yielding positive results across the state .
The Sardaunan Funtua disclosed this shortly after commissioning of the funtua township road in funtua.
Alh Akilu Hassan Mohd said the more than 10 kilometres road which runs through the centre of Funtua municipality has provided several economic opportunities to the commercial city of Funtua.
He said no doubt the transportation of goods and services has significantly improved,while the double lane of Zaria and Sokoto roads are ongoing successfully,he commended the foresight of the governor for transforming Funtua municipality into a modern city.
Alh Akilu Hassan Mohd who is also the chairman of Nak still rolling mills Katsina, described the establishment of University of Medical and health science Funtua as great achievement in the history of Funtua zone and the state in general.
The Sardaunan Funtua stated that the university which has already began it’s academic activities has also improved the socio economic wellbeing of people in funtua senatorial zone.
Alh Akilu Hassan Mohd said people in funtua senatorial zone should reciprocate the gesture through rallying behind the second term of Dr Dikko Umar radda PhD for sustainability and continuity.
The chairman NAK expressed his appreciation over the progress and number of projects executed in funtua zone and the state in general.
He promised to accord all necessary support and cooperation to ensure the victory of governor Dr Dikko Umar radda PhD during the forthcoming general election in the country 2027
