Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State has again win another award for his outstanding performance in good governance particularly his resolve to developed the state rural areas and development of agriculture.
The award ceremony organised by Vanguard newspaper took place at the Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island Lagos and was the 40th edition.

The Commissioner explained that,His Excellency Governor Buni was recognised in the Good Governance category and given an award for Rural Development and Agriculture.
The award speaks to the governor’s effort in spreading his administration’s socio-economic interventions across all nooks and crannies of the state and his remarkable effort at revving up agriculture and promoting food security.
The Commissioner was accompanied at the ceremony by Mallam Ibrahim Baba Saleh, the governor’s focal person on public engagement and media liaison.
