    VP Shettima Flags-Off 32 Hybrid Buses, 200 E-Tricycles In Katsina

    Vice-President Kashim Shettima has launched a modern mass transit scheme in Katsina State as part of Governor Dikko Umaru Radda’s Building Your Future agenda.

    The scheme contains 32 hybrid buses powered by electric, diesel and CNG technologies to serve Katsina, Daura and Funtua zones, supported by a main terminal in Katsina, mini-terminals in Daura and Funtua, and 40 modern bus stops fitted with Wi-Fi and solar inverters.

    The Governor noted that 200 electric tricycles have been launched as Phase I of the 500 e-Keke initiative to promote clean energy, create jobs and grow a new transport ecosystem.
