    YARKATSINA BANDITS ATTACK – MHR ZANNAN BUNGUDU PRESENT CASH & FOOD ITEMS TO THE FAMILY OF THE DECEASED AND INJURED POLICEMEN.

    Member Houses of Reps Bungudu/Maru Federal Constituency Hon. Abdulmalik Zubairu Zannan Bungudu today donated 1.5 Million Naira and Fifteen bags of rice to the family of the deceased and injured policemen who were involved in the recent Yarkatsina banditry attack that occurred recently.

    A statement signed by Aminu Lawal Bungudu, Chief image maker of the lawmaker recalled that recently armed bandits in large numbers stormed the Yarkatsian community and killed several people including policemen and innocent civilians who were on their duty post protecting lives and property.

    Presenting the donation Hon. Abdulmalik Zubairu represented by Hon. Mohammed Maiturare Sadiq informed the Zamfara State Commissioner of Police CP Ahmad

    Muhammad Bello that the gesture was meant to support the family of the victims owing to the fact that they are currently battling with the trying moment.

    Hon. Zannan Bungudu who specifically told the CP on his determined commitment towards recementing the long ago synergy with the police and other sister security agencies aimed at making their job more effective also said providing such relief packages is his routine duty since assumption of office.

    He registered his condolences to the commissioner and the Nigerian Police Force and advised the bereaved family to consider the incident as act of Allah.

    Each of the 2 deceased police officer’s family received 500,000 and 5 bags of rice and the injured one received same amount and quantity of food stuff.

    Responding, the Commissioner of Police CP Ahmad Muhammad Bello said the concern shown by the lawmaker is timely and encouraging.

    CP Ahmad Bello said community policing is a collective responsibility hence the need for influential individuals to continue exhibiting sense of partnership and collaboration with the police.

    He thanked the Zannan Bungudu for the gesture and prayed Allah to reward him most abundantly.
