The First Lady of Zamfara State, Her Excellency, Hajiya Huriyya Dauda Lawal (Inna Wuro Zurmi), has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the revered Emir of Zurmi, Sarkin Zamfaran Zurmi, Alhaji Bello Sulaiman, describing his death as an irreparable loss to the state and the traditional institution.
In a condolence message issued in Gusau, through her Press Secretary Rabi Yusuf, the First Lady conveyed her heartfelt sympathies to the Zurmi Emirate Council, the bereaved royal family and the entire people of the emirate. She reflected fondly on the late monarch’s wise counsel and steadfast leadership, noting that his invaluable guidance and dedication to community peace will be sorely missed across Zamfara State.
While joining the people of the state in mourning the revered traditional ruler, she prayed that Almighty Allah would comfort the grieving family and grant them the fortitude to bear the heavy vacuum created by his departure.
She further prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings, accept his good deeds and grant him Jannatul Firdaus.
