Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State, has approved the release of funds for the payment of Gratuity Batch 3 for the 2024/2025 period.
This iwas made known im in a statement issued by the State Commissioner for Information and Culture, Mahmud Muhammad Dantawasa said the approval underscores the administration commitment to the welfare of retired civil servants who have dedicated years of service to the development of the state.
According to the statement, the State Accountant-General is already working diligently to ensure that all eligible retirees receive their payments promptly and efficiently, reflecting the government’s determination to uphold transparency and accountability in the disbursement process.
It says the timely payment of gratuity is a testament to the Governor’s people-centered leadership, aimed at recognizing the sacrifices and contributions of retirees to the progress and stability of Zamfara State.
The Zamfara State Government calls on all retirees in the affected batch to remain patient as the necessary administrative and financial processes are being finalized.
Adding that, efforts are being intensified to ensure a seamless and hitch-free payment process while the government remains resolute in prioritizing the welfare of its retirees.
