Hon. Bilyaminu Ismail Moriki, alongside members of the State Assembly leadership, during a condolence visit to the Command Headquarters.

A statement signed by the command public relations officer DSP Yazid Abubakar said the visit was aimed at expressing the Assembly’s sympathy and solidarity with the Nigeria Police Force over the recent loss of brave officers who paid the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty while protecting lives and property across the state.

Speaking during the visit, Rt. Hon. Bilyaminu conveyed the deep condolences of the Zamfara State House of Assembly and the people of the state to the bereaved families, the Inspector-General of Police, and the entire Zamfara State Police Command. He described the fallen officers as heroes whose dedication and commitment to safeguarding the lives of citizens would never be forgotten.

The Speaker acknowledged the sacrifices being made daily by police personnel in the fight against banditry and other criminal activities, assuring the Command of the Assembly’s continued support in promoting peace, security, and stability across Zamfara State.

In his response, CP Ahmad Muhammad Bello expressed appreciation to the Speaker and his delegation for the thoughtful visit and show of concern. He noted that the gesture served as a source of encouragement to officers and men of the Command, particularly during a difficult period marked by the loss of dedicated personnel.

The Commissioner reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to sustaining ongoing security operations and ensuring that the sacrifices of the fallen officers were not in vain.
