    ZANNAN BUNGUDU MOURNS DEATH OF 12 MILITARY PERSONNEL & 5 CIVILIANS IN BINDIN DISTRICT

    Member House of Reps Bungudu/Maru Federal Constituency Hon. Dr. Abdulmalik Zubairu Zannan says the killing of military personnel amounting to 12 and 5 civilians in Bindin town of Maru South constituency by armed bandits is a cruelty at its peak.

    A statement signed by Aminu Lawal Bungudu, Jekadan Bungudu ,Chief Spokesman to MHR Bungudu/Maru Federal Constituency said Zannan Bungudu stated this in a condolence message to the Nigerian Army, Zamfara State government, Bindin community and Dansadau Emirate.

    The lawmaker expressed sadness over the ugly incident describing it as jeopardy to the existing peace being enjoyed by people in the community.

    “What happened to the military personnel working in Bindin is a signal that some bad eggs are against the peace that is currently prevailing in our community”, Zannan Bungudu explained.

    He reminded all stakeholders in both political space and security to be more alive to their responsibilities, pointing out that questions await all of them on the day of reckoning.

    Zannan Bungudu prayed Allah SWT to forgive all the deceased victims and grant the grieved ones fortitude to bear the pain associated with this colossal loss.

    He promised to continue influencing support to both the security and members of the community in order to defeat the criminals and their terror act.
