The Borno State Deputy Governor His Excellency Dr Umar Kadafur today afternoon received His Eminence Shehu of Borno Alh. (Dr) Abubakar Ibn Umar Garbai Al-amin CFR, was accompanied by the Waziri of Borno, King Markers, members of the emirates council at the government house on Sallah homage greetings to the Borno State government.
The Shehu of Borno while thanking and appreciate the administration of Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum for his commitment in security, education, health and other capital and human development in the state.
HRH also called on the State government with the federal government of Nigeria to revisit the Chad Basin development, the oil exploration in Borno, the reconstruction of the Alau dam and job creation and opportunities to the youths in Borno State.
The Deputy Governor, while responding to HRH the Shehu of Borno assured him government efforts in collaborating with the federal government to bring more developmental projects in the state.
Also the combined leadership of tertiary institutions in Borno paid a similar visit to the Borno State government and also appreciate the government for supporting all tertiary institutions including the private university in the state Al-Ansar University.
Among the tertiary institutions includes University of Maiduguri, University of Maiduguri teaching hospital, Borno State University , Federal Neuro psychiatric hospital among others.
Those in attendance are the Secretary of the Government of Borno State, Chairman civil service commission and secretary of the Borno State elders forum, acting Chief of staff to the governor of Borno State, Commissioner of information and internal security, commissioner for Local government and Emirates affairs, special advisers , senior Special Assistant among others.
