The Member Representing Zaria city Constituency in the Kaduna State House of Assembly Hon Mahumd Lawal Samaila Esq has reiterated his commitment to engaging in things that will promote the well being of the Constituency citizenry.
He reiterated this during a ceremony marking the handing over of appointment letters to indigenes of the Constituency facilitated through his office held at Zaria.
He expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for the opportunity to serve the good people of Zaria City Constituency and to contribute, his own little way, to improving the lives of the people.
According to him,within the last three years, he has facilitated approximately 245 government employment opportunities for young people from our constituency.
The Lawmaker maintained that this achievement is a reflection of his continued commitment to creating opportunities for youths and ensuring that our people benefit meaningfully from government programmes and opportunities
He recalled that on Sunday, 30th August 2026, he had the privilege of presenting appointment letters to another 15 beneficiaries during a constituency engagement in Zaria City.
The gathering brought together party leaders, traditional title holders, district and village heads, community leaders, religious scholars, youth groups, and other stakeholders. I was particularly encouraged by the prayers, commendations, and words of support from our respected teachers, imams, Islamic scholars, and leaders of various development associations in Zaria.
Mahmud Samaila was also honoured with a special award in recognition of his efforts toward youth empowerment and community development.
While appreciating the gesture,the Lawmaker said he see it not merely as an honour, but as a greater responsibility to do more for our people.
The Lawmaker who doubles as Deputy Chief Whip and Chairman, House Committee on Education of the Kaduna State House of Assembly used the opportunity of the engagement to met with youth groups supporting the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the administration of His Excellency, Senator Uba Sani, CON and listened to their concerns, aspirations, and expectations.
He also welcomed some members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) who decided to join the APC. I appreciate their confidence and willingness to identify with our collective efforts toward the development of Zaria City Constituency.
He expressed delight by the presence and support of our traditional institutions, including the representative of the Emir of Zazzau, His Royal Highness Alhaji Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli, as well as Alhaji Abdullahi Sidi Bamalli, the Sarkin Kasuwar Zazzau, alongside other distinguished guests and community leaders.
Mahumd Lawal Samaila also said he remain sincerely grateful to the people of Zaria City Constituency for their continued trust, prayers, support, and encouragement.
