The Katsina State African Democratic Congress ADC flag bearer, Senator Ahmad Babba Kaita has condoled with late Sheikh Yahaya Masussuka’s family over yesterday’s (Tuesday, 27/10/2026) murder of the religious scholar by gunmen at his Dutsin-Ma residence in Katsina State.
In a statement signed by Abubakar Ahmed Spokesman ABK 2027 GUBERNATORIAL CAMPAIGN said the gubernatorial candidate also consoled friends, associates and teeming followers of the slain Sheikh praying to Allah to forgive his shortcomings and accommodate him in paradise.

Kaita however lamented that the murder of Sheikh Masussuka in the open has further exposed the ever weakening fight against insecurity by the state government in particular and by the APC led administration in general.
He noted that the life of human beings has now become so cheap that anyone could come and take it with the government doing little or nothing in meeting the basic constitutional requirements of protecting life and properties of its citizens.
He urged Nigerians, especially the electorate, to vote out the current APC government at all levels in the coming 2027 elections and replace it with the ADC which promises a better Nigeria through good governance and public spirited administration.
