The Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone One Headquarters, Kano, AIG Garba Ahmed, has congratulated the pioneer graduating students of Police Secondary School, Dawakin Kudu, Kano, on the successful completion of their secondary education, urging them to remain disciplined, patriotic, and committed to excellence as worthy ambassadors of the institution.
A statement signed by DSP Abdullahi Hussaini,Police Public Relations Officer,For: AIG, Zone One Headquarters, Kano, said AIG Garba Ahmed gave the charge on Saturday, 25th July 2026, while serving as the Reviewing Officer at the Passing Out Parade of the first set of graduating students of the school.
AIG Garba Ahmed described the event as a historic milestone in the development of the institution and commended the Inspector-General of Police, *IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, and the Force Management Team for their commitment to educational development within the Nigeria Police Force.
He noted that, as pioneer graduates, the students carry the responsibility of upholding the values and reputation of their school through discipline, integrity, patriotism, and hard work. He equally congratulated the parents, guardians, teachers, and members of staff for their dedication and invaluable contributions to the success of the graduating students.
In recognition of outstanding support towards the growth of the school, AIG Garba Ahmed commended Alhaji Auwalu Abdullahi Rano,.Chairman of AA Rano Nigeria Limited, for his substantial investment in the infrastructural development of Police Secondary School, Dawakin Kudu.
The AIG also appreciated his generous support for the renovation and transformation of the Zone One Police Headquarters, Kano.
He further acknowledged the contributions of Alhaji Mustapha Ado Muhammad,.Chairman of Amasco International Limited; Dr. Kabiru Ibrahim Kainuwa; Alhaji Aminu Dawakin Kudu; and other individuals whose support has continued to promote the growth and development of the institution.
AIG Garba Ahmed also reaffirmed that education remains the foundation of national development and called on all stakeholders to sustain their support for Police Secondary School, Dawakin Kudu, in its pursuit of academic excellence and sound moral upbringing for future generations.
