The Commander Armoured Corps, Major General Umar Abubakar, hosted the Zonal Commanding Officer, Federal Road Safety Corps, RS12 HQ Bauchi, Assistant Corps Marshal Leye Adegboyega and the Executive Director Minal Learning Foundation, Hajia Bilikisu Abubakar Sambo on separate courtesy visits at Headquarters Nigerian Army Armoured Corps, Obienu Barracks, Bauchi State on Wednesday, 3 June 2026.

ACM Adegboyega’s visit focused on strengthening synergy between FRSC and the Armoured Corps through enhanced intelligence sharing, Inter-Agency Cooperation, joint efforts to address security challenges and promote road safety awareness in Bauchi State. He commended the Nigerian Army for its commitment to peace and security and reaffirmed FRSC’s readiness to support the Corps in training drivers, licence administration and road safety engagement.
In his remarks, Major General Abubakar congratulated the Zonal Commanding Officer on his appointment and restated NAAC’s commitment to sustained Inter-Agency Cooperation, intelligence sharing and joint operations to enhance security and road safety. He stressed the need for continued collaboration in training Nigerian Army drivers on traffic rules and regulations.
In a related development, the Minal Learning Foundation, led by Executive Director, Hajia Bilikisu Abubakar Sambo, also paid a courtesy visit to the Commander Armoured Corps. In her remarks, She highlighted the foundation’s commitment to humanitarian services, education, youth and women empowerment and support for victims. She also solicited NAAC’s partnership for the foundation’s upcoming National Conference on National Development scheduled for 20 June 2026 in Bauchi State.
The Commander commended the foundation’s initiatives, assured NAAC’s participation and designated a liaison officer to coordinate activities between the HQ NAAC and the organization.
