The Executive Chairman of Zaria Local Government, Engr. Jamil Ahmad Muhammad (Jaga), participated in the Kaduna State Local Government Joint Account Allocation Committee (JAAC) statutory meeting for April 2026, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and effective governance.
The meeting, held at the Senator Uba Sani Conference Hall, was presided over by Hon Sadiq Mamman Lagos, who led comprehensive deliberations focused on fiscal coordination and sustainable grassroots development across the state.
The high-level session brought together key stakeholders, including Dr. Mahmud Lawal, all 23 Local Government Chairmen, their respective Finance and Budget Deputies, as well as top officials from critical government agencies such as SUBEB, RUWASSA, the Office of the Accountant General, PHCB, the Pension Bureau, and the Local Government Service Board.
The outcomes of this engagement will directly translate into improved allocation and utilization of resources within Zaria Local Government.
