The Kaduna State Command of the Nigeria Immigration Service, under the leadership of the Controller, CIS KDSC M.A. Mahmoud, PCC, CNA, FCILRM (Ph.D), paid an official visit to the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency as part of ongoing preparations for the 2026 Hajj exercise, with the inaugural flight scheduled for May 14.

A statement signed by Ibrahim Datti, public relations officer of the board, said the visit was aimed at reviewing and ensuring the effective coordination of immigration processes for intending pilgrims, with particular emphasis on documentation, clearance procedures, and overall operational readiness.

The Controller reaffirmed the commitment of the Nigeria Immigration Service to delivering a seamless and hitch-free Hajj operation for all pilgrims from Kaduna State.

In his remarks, the Executive Chairman of the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Malam Salihu S. Abubakar, commended the Nigeria Immigration Service for its consistent support and collaboration.

He noted that the strong partnership between both agencies has significantly contributed to efficient service delivery and the successful conduct of previous Hajj operations.

The visit highlights the critical role of inter-agency collaboration in ensuring a well-organized and successful pilgrimage, while reaffirming the shared commitment of both institutions to the welfare and smooth experience of Kaduna State pilgrims.
