The Executive Chairman of Zaria Local Government, Engr.Jamil Ahmad Muhammad (Jaga), demonstrated purposeful leadership through a series of impactful engagements spanning political unity, social functions, and community outreach.
The day began with Engr. Jaga served as host for the endorsement programme of former Kaduna State Governor, Mukhtar Ramalan Yero, as the consensus candidate for Senatorial Zone I. The event brought together all eight Local Government Council Chairmen from Zone I, alongside key stakeholders and party leaders, who unanimously endorsed the candidature of Dallatu H.E. Mukhtar Ramalan Yero signaling strong unity and shared political direction within the zone.
In continuation of his community engagements, the Chairman attended the Wedding Fatiha of Sadiq Mustapha (Sadi) and Asmau Shehu Baba, daughter of the respected Dankasuwa, held at Baba Trader Juma’at Mosque, Tudun Wada, Zaria. He also graced the Wedding Fatiha of Hauwa Hassan Ibrahim, daughter of Hassan Comrade, and Major Kamarudeen Abdulkadir at Madarasatul Ummatu ul Islamiyya, GRA, Zaria celebrating with families and strengthening communal bonds.
Engr. Jaga further extended his compassion through multiple condolence visits across Zaria. He visited the family of Rabiu Horo at Layin Makafi over the loss of his mother’s younger sister, as well as Alhaji Aminu Sultani at Unguwar Iya, Zaria City, over the passing of his mother. He also paid respects to the family of the late Aishatu Dangoma at Dangoma Residence, Kofar Kuyanbana, and to Jafaru, Limancin Kona Ward Exco, at Unguwar Karauka, following the death of his mother.
These visits underscore his unwavering commitment to standing with the people in moments of grief.
