The Commissioner of Police, Zamfara State Command, CP Ahmad Muhammad Bello, psc+, Mnips, met with members of the Command’s football team at his office, where he emphasized the importance of discipline, teamwork, and regular physical training.
A statement signed by the command public relations officer DSP Yazid Abubakar said during the interactive session, the Commissioner encouraged the team to remain committed to consistent training, noting that physical fitness is essential not only for sporting excellence but also for effective policing. He stressed that regular exercise enhances mental alertness, endurance, and overall health—qualities that are critical in the discharge of police duties.
CP Bello further used the opportunity to call on all officers and men of the Command to actively participate in physical exercise and sporting activities. He reiterated that maintaining a healthy lifestyle contributes significantly to improved productivity, resilience, and operational efficiency.
The Commissioner commended the football team for their dedication and urged them to serve as role models in promoting fitness and unity within the Command.
