The Commissioner of Police, Zamfara State Command, CP A.M. Bello, psc+, mnips, today received Alhaji Bashir Sarkin Yamman Kanoma and members of his community on a courtesy visit at the Command Headquarters.
A statement signed by the command public relations officer DSP Yazid Abubakar said during the meeting, discussions centred on security concerns within the community and practical measures to strengthen peace, safety, and public security. Both parties exchanged views on the current security situation and explored strategies for enhancing collaboration between the police and community members.
CP A.M. Bello commended the delegation for their commitment to supporting security initiatives and emphasised the importance of community participation in crime prevention and intelligence sharing. He assured the visitors of the Command’s continued dedication to protecting lives and property across the state
The Commissioner further encouraged residents to remain law-abiding, vigilant, and to promptly report suspicious activities to security agencies, stressing that effective security is a collective responsibility.
Alhaji Bashir Sarkin Yamma Kanoma expressed appreciation to the Commissioner of Police for his leadership and the Command’s efforts in maintaining peace and security. He reaffirmed the community’s commitment to supporting the police in promoting a safer environment for all.
