The attention of 401 Special Forces Brigade Nigerian Army has been drawn to the activities of fraudster, one John Ubi Augustine using social media platforms particularly Facebook to impersonate the Commander, Brigadier General Kolawole Bukoye’s picture to circulate; “OUR SOLDIERS DESERVES BETTER”
This was contained in a statement signed by Captain Tayo Oluwafemi Acting Assistant Director Army Public Relations401 Special Forces Brigade issued to newsmen.
It said the TlBrigade wishes to state that the said statement is scheme created with the intent to misinform the general public. Members of the public are hereby strongly advised to disregard the fraudulent statement against the senior officer.
Furthermore, the public is also informed that the Commander does not grant any interview in respect of the statement.
The general public is therefore urged to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities when such arise.
