The Executive Chairman Zaria local government Eng Jamil Jaga has secured three transformers as part of efforts towards improving power supply in Zaria city.
This will no doubt ease the suffering of the benefiting communities who have been battling with the issue of poor electricity supply ,and ensure effective utilisation of power supply for their day to day activities.
The newly procured transformers will be deployed to three different communities and was initiated by the Chairman to alleviate the suffering of the affected communities and improve their livelihood.
The benefiting communities include Bambale,Kwarbai and Kofar Galadima.
A technical team from the office of the chairman comprising the Chief of staff to the chairman and other members identified the communities to benefit from the gesture.
The team which has worked diligently for the attainment of set objectives has set in motion machinery to provide poles,high voltage cables and other electrical equipment to facilitate successful installation of the transformers in the three different communities.
Some of the benefiting communities expressed gratitude to the chairman for coming to their aid and wished him success in the task ahead.
