Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago was among eminent personalities that accompanied President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to submit Expression of Interest and Nomination forms to the All Progressives Congress, APC, for his re-election bid.
This was contained in a statement signed by the chief press secretary to the farmer Governor,Bologi Ibrahim issued to newsmen.
Vice President,Sen. Kashim Shettima submitted the forms on behalf of President Tinubu at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.
Sen. Shettima called on Nigerians, regardless of any sentiment, to support the second-term bid of Tinubu.
He said returning the administration of Tinubu would consolidate the ongoing reforms and national development.
House of Representatives Speaker,Tajudeen Abbas said President Tinubu has demonstrated boldness and courage in running the affairs of the country and has so far done well, expressing confidence that Nigerians will massively vote for him.
Also speaking, the National Chairman of APC, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, said that the National Working Committee of the party has unambiguously endorsed President Tinubu for the second term considering his remarkable performance.
Similarly, the Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) and Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, on behalf of all the APC governors reaffirmed their unalloyed support for Tinubu’s re-election bid.
