Niger State governor, farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago has held a special session with APC Candidates and aspirants that lost in the Primary election held across the State.
A statement signed by Bologi Ibrahim Chief press secretary to the Governor said the meeting which was held at the Hauwa Wali Multipurpose Hall, Government House Minna was convened to strengthen unity among party members and strategize on how best to ensure victory for all APC candidates in 2027 general elections.
The farmer governor used the medium to call on all candidates and aspirants to remain committed to the collective vision of the APC and the renewed hope agenda of the President as well as the new niger agenda of the State.
Farmer Umaru Bago stressed on party faithfuls to remain loyal to the party and remain united to achieve a common purpose as it is imperative for every APC member to ensure the party’s success and continue to deliver more dividends of democracy to the people of Niger State.
The forum afforded opportunity for APC party members in the State to deliberate on key issues and offered suggestions and recommendations where necessary.
The special meeting was attended by the deputy governor, Comrade Yakubu Garba, candidates and aspirants from the State, APC Zonal Vice Chairman, North Central Mu’azu Bawa Rijau, APC State Chairman, Aminu Musa Bobi, and other critical party stakeholders.
