The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of the Federal University of Education (FUE), Zaria, Amb. Baba Ahmad Jidda, OFR, and the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Yahaya Isa Bunkure, engaged with the Nigerian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Ambassador Aminu Dalhatu, at his official residence, Nigeria House, London.
A statement signed by Sani Lawal Maqarphy media aide to the VC said joined by members of the Northern Nigerian community resident in the United Kingdom, they were hosted to a dinner by the High Commissioner, Ambassador Aminu Dalhatu.
The dinner provided an opportunity for meaningful interaction and networking, during which discussions were made on issues of national development, and education.
The engagement also facilitated the exchange of ideas on promoting sustainable development through stronger collaboration between Nigeria and Nigerians living overseas.
The Pro-Chancellor and the Vice-Chancellor noted that such engagements align with the University’s internationalisation drive by creating opportunities for strategic partnerships, academic collaboration, knowledge exchange, and enhanced global visibility for the Federal University of Education, Zaria.
Highlights of the occasion included group photographs featuring the High Commissioner, the Pro-Chancellor, the Vice-Chancellor, and members of the Northern Nigerian community in the diaspora.
