    The chairman funtua unity foundation comrade mannir Mohd Sulaiman has call for immediate full investigation and renovation of Funtua comprehensive health centre recently razed by fire incident in Funtua.

    The chairman made the call shortly after visiting the burnt down multi million naira hospital in funtua.

    Comrade Manir Mohd Sulaiman stated that the fire incident had caused severe damages, burning down the entire center to ashes.

    Comrade Manir Mohd Sulaiman said the comprehensive centre served as the second health care facility to Funtua community as well as the neighbouring local governments ,kaduna and zamfara state.

    He expressed sadness over the inability of fire service vehicles to act due to the grounded situation.

    The chairman said both the state and local governments should investigate the negligence of the fire service units which cannot save the multi million lost to fire inferno in the comprehensive centre.

    Comrade Mannir Mohd Sulaiman called on the relevant authorities to wade into action by immediate renovations considering the immense importance of services given to the huge number of patients patronising the health facility.

    Responding, the officer incharge of the comprehensive centre Mal Abdulhadi Bala expressed shock over the unfortunate incident.

    He said the fire began from the pediatric unit ,thereby gulfing over twelve units of the health centre including recently acquired multi million naira worth of drugs and medicaments.

    Mal Abdulhadi Bala said although no life was lost , and some items where removed thanked all those helped in Bringing normalcyNormalcy in the health centre.

    The officer in charge called on both state and local governments to renovate the centre without delay and for the benefit of patients.
