    GOLD TRADERS ASSOCIATION PAYS CONDOLENCE VISIT TO ZAMFARA STATE POLICE COMMAND, DONATES RELIEF ITEMS TO FAMILIES OF FALLEN OFFICERS

    In a remarkable display of compassion and community solidarity, the Zamfara State Association of Gold Traders, led by its Chairman, Alhaji Usama Maishanu, paid a condolence visit to the Zamfara State Police Command Headquarters in Gusau following the recent tragic bomb attack that claimed the lives of police officers.

    A statement signed by the command public relations officer DSP Yazid Abubakar said the delegation was received by the Commissioner of Police, Zamfara State Command, CP Ahmad Muhammad Bello, psc+, mnips, on behalf of the officers and men of the Command as well as the bereaved families.

    Speaking during the visit, Alhaji Usama Maishanu expressed the deep sorrow of the gold trading community over the unfortunate incident. He conveyed heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased officers and prayed for the peaceful repose of their souls.

    As a gesture of support to the affected families, the association donated essential food items, including six (6) bags of rice and three (3) cartons of spaghetti, to help alleviate some of the hardships faced by the bereaved families during this difficult period.

    Alhaji Maishanu commended the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of officers and men of the Zamfara State Police Command, assuring them of the continued support of the business community in the collective effort to promote peace and security across the state.

    In his response, the Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmad Muhammad Bello, expressed profound appreciation to the association for its sympathy, generosity, and solidarity with the Command and the families of the fallen officers.

    According to the CP, the donation represents more than material assistance; it reflects the spirit of unity, compassion, and shared responsibility that binds communities together during moments of grief.

    The CP assured the delegation that the donated items would be distributed transparently to the affected families and reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to ensuring the safety of lives and property across Zamfara State.

    The visit concluded with prayers for the repose of the souls of the deceased officers,lasting peace, security, and prosperity throughout Zamfara State and the nation at large.
