Gombe state APC under the leadership of a political strategist,Gov Inuwa Yahaya has continued to dominate the state political terrains ahead of the 2027 General elections
In line with this,a major political realignment is unfolding in Gombe State as Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, on Sunday led the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, on a visit to former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives and former Senator representing Gombe North, Usman Bayero Nafada, at his Abuja residence.
The meeting, which was also attended by the Gombe State APC Governorship Candidate, Dr. Jamilu Isiyaku Gwamna and APC stalwart and businessman, Arc. Yunusa Yakubu, comes amid strong indications that Senator Nafada, a prominent PDP leader and influential political figure, is set to formally join the APC.
The leaders discussed issues relating to the development of Gombe State and Nigeria, as well as politics ahead of the 2027 general elections
