The Executive Governor of Yobe state, Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON, COMN has approved the Acting Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Mohammed Goje, as substantive Secretary to the state government.
A statement signed by the DG Press and Media Affairs to the Governor,Mal Mamman Mohammed said Dr. Goje was appointed as acting SSG on 29th April 2026, a position he holds till date.
Dr Goje was the Executive Secretary of the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) before his appointment as the Acting Secretary to the state Government.
Gov. Buni charged Dr Goje to justify his appointment as the substantive Secretary to the State Government through value addition to good governance and service delivery.
