The Executive Governor of Yobe State, Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON,COMN, was at the house of Dr Adamu Mohammed Fika, to condole with his family following his death on Thursday, 7th August, 2026.
A statement signed by the DG Press and Media Affairs to the Governor Mal Mamman Mohammed said Gov. Buni described Dr. Fika as a seasoned and honest public officer who spent his life in service to the nation with a clean record of service.
“His death is a sad loss to the family, the state and Nigeria, but that is the wish of Allah (SWT)” Buni consoled the family.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the soul of the deceased eternal rest in Aljannah Firdaus, and to the family, the fortitude to bear the loss.
Dr Fika, a seasoned civil servant was a clerk of the National Assembly and later served as executive chairman of the National Assembly Service Commission.
