Yobe state Governor, Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON ,COMN, has assured youth in the state that they have a prosperous future in their lives.
A statement signed by the DG Press and media affairs to the Governor said he stated this during a Two day retreat organized by the Coalition of Yobe APC Political Organizations (COYAPO).
He charged the youth to participate actively in all the political processes especially in the election of competent persons for various political offices in the state and country.
“The youth constitute the larger population of the state, and the larger political actors, therefore, you must be actively involved to shape the politics and leadership of the state” he said.
Earlier, the Director General of COYAPO, Alh Babagana Modu alias Bature Goniri, commended Gov.Buni for the opportunity extended to youth in the state to participate in governance.
