Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, has approved the deployment of Permanent Secretaries across key Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs).
The Head of Civil Service, Professor Muazu Shehu, who conveyed the Governor’s approval, said the development is in line with the present administration’s commitment to effective public service management, continuity in governance and the entrenchment of professionalism in the civil service.
He explained that the postings are designed to optimize institutional performance, deepen policy coordination and further align the machinery of government with Governor Inuwa Yahaya’s vision of a responsive, result-driven and people-oriented public service.
This was contained in a statement signed by DG press affairs Gombe State government house Ismaila Uba Misilli issued to newsmen.
According to the Head of Civil Service, the postings, effective immediately, are as follows:
1. Alhaji Jalo Ibrahim Ali, mni, moves to the Ministry of Finance and will also oversee the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning.
2. Idris Yambiu Buba, mni, is assigned to the Ministry of Health and will oversee the Ministry of Higher Education.
3. Mohammed Mohammed Galadima takes charge of the Ministry of Information while continuing oversight of Science, Technology and Innovation.
4 Danladi Adamu remains at the Ministry of Works, Housing and Transport.
5. Larai Maigari is posted to the Establishment and Service Matters Department, Office of the Head of Service.
6.Suleiman Musa Kwami moves to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and will oversee the Civil Service Commission.
7.Abubakar Hassan is posted to the Ministry of Education while retaining oversight of the Bureau of Public Service Reforms.
8.Salisu Adamu Sambo continues in Special Services and Political Affairs, overseeing Cabinet and General Duties.
9.Shuaibu Ibrahim is posted to the Ministry of Local Government while continuing oversight of the Teachers Service Commission.
10.Adamu Moh’d Kala moves to the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Tourism.
11.Sa’adatu Bome Ishaya is posted to the Deputy Governor’s Office while continuing oversight of SIEC.
12.Abubakar Babayo Hassan is posted to the Local Government Service Commission.
13.Moh’d Ismail Hinna remains in the Ministry of Justice.
14. Muhammad Bello Abubakar Kumo continues at the Ministry of Water Resources, Environment and Forestry.
15.Alhassan Ibrahim remains at Government House.
16.Ahmed Sa’eed Guli is posted to the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry and will oversee the Ministry of Internal Security and Ethical Orientation.
17. Dr. Lawan Bala is posted to the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development and will oversee the Ministry of Women and Social Development.
All the postings are with immediate effect.
