Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, has attended the Janazah (funeral prayer) of Hajiya Hauwa Bala Magaji (Innakulu), wife of elder statesman and former Secretary to the Gombe State Government, Alhaji Bala Muhammad Magaji (Magajin Garin Gombe).
Hajiya Hauwa passed away yesterday in Gombe at the age of 59.
A statement signed by the DG press affairs to the Governor,Ismaila uba misilli said the funeral prayer took place at the Bubayero Central Mosque, Emir’s Palace, Gombe.
Governor Inuwa Yahaya attended the Janazah alongside the APC Governorship Candidate, Dr. Jamilu Isiyaku Gwamna; the Speaker of the Gombe State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abubakar Mohammed Luggerewo, Commissioners and senior government officials.
The Governor had earlier conveyed his condolences in an official message, describing the late Hajiya Hauwa as a humble, compassionate and God-fearing woman whose kindness, generosity and exemplary character earned her the love and respect of all who knew her.
He noted that her demise is a profound loss not only to the family of the Magajin Garin Gombe, but also to Gombe State, where she will be remembered for her positive impact on those around her.
Governor Inuwa Yahaya once again extended his heartfelt sympathies to Alhaji Bala Muhammad Magaji, the entire bereaved family and their relatives, urging them to draw strength from the exemplary life she lived and the enduring legacy of goodness, faith and service she left behind.
He prayed to Almighty Allah (SWT) to forgive her shortcomings, accept her righteous deeds and grant her eternal repose in Aljannatul Firdaus.
