The Media Office of the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate in Gombe State, Dr Jamil Isyaku Gwamna, wishes to categorically debunk and firmly reject the false and misleading allegations currently circulating on social media, claiming that the candidate used inappropriate language during a recent political gathering.

In a statement signed by Ibrahim Sani Shawai, Spokesperson to Dr Jamil Isyaku Gwamna, it states that without any fear of contradiction, such an incident never occurred. At no point did Dr Gwamna engage in or utter any form of abusive words as falsely portrayed by mischief makers seeking to tarnish his hard-earned reputation.

Dr Gwamna is widely known across Gombe State and beyond as a man of honour, integrity, and impeccable character.

His good upbringing from a well-respected and disciplined family in the heart of Gombe has shaped his values of respect, humility, and responsible public conduct. These principles have guided him throughout his personal, professional, and political life.

For decades, Gwamna has maintained a consistent record of civility, decorum, and respect in all his public engagements. He is not known for, nor has he ever been associated with, the use of abusive language or disrespectful conduct toward individuals or groups.

It is therefore unfortunate that desperate elements have resorted to fabricating and spreading false and baseless claims in a bid to mislead the public and distract them from the issues that matter most to the people of Gombe State.

We urge the public to disregard this false narrative in its entirety and to remain focused on the vision, competence, and track record that Dr Gwamna brings to the race. His commitment to respectful engagement, unity, and development remains unwavering.

The Media Office will continue to monitor the situation and will not hesitate to take appropriate steps against those who deliberately spread falsehoods to malign the image and personality of our candidate.
