Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has condoled with Alhaji Abdussalam Abdulkarim (AA Zaura)and his family over the death of Hajiya Hauwa Waziri, popularly known as Mamaye, who passed away in Abuja at the age of 90.
Hajiya Hauwa Waziri was the grandmother of A.A. Zaura’s wife was described as an elderly woman who lived a long and remarkable life.
Governor Yusuf paid a condolence visit to A.A. Zaura at his residence in Abuja, where he conveyed his sympathy to the family over the loss.
The Governor said the death of an elderly member of the family, particularly one who had lived for almost nine decades, was a painful moment for the family and loved ones.
He urged the family to take solace in the long life lived by the deceased and the memories she left behind.
Governor Yusuf prayed to Allah to forgive Hajiya Hauwa Waziri’s shortcomings, accept her good deeds and grant her Aljannatul Firdaus.
He also prayed to Allah to give A.A. Zaura, his wife and other members of the family the strength and fortitude to bear the loss.
The Governor further extended his condolences to relatives, friends and all those who mourned the deceased, urging them to continue praying for her eternal repose.
The Governor was accompanied by former Kano state governor Sen. Arc. Kabiru Ibrahim Gaya and Member, Gaya, Ajingi and Albasu Hon. Dr. Ghali Mustapha Tijjani
