The Head of the Kaduna State Government Delegation to the 2026 Hajj, Malam Abubakar Mustapha, has lauded the Executive Chairman of the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Malam Salihu S. Abubakar, for his exemplary leadership and outstanding management of the state’s Hajj operations.
A statement signed by Ibrahim Datti the public relations officer of the board said Malam Abubakar made the commendation on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, during a visit to Kaduna State pilgrims accommodated at Maslafa, Ibrahim Khalil Road, Makkah.
Speaking during the visit, the Head of Delegation disclosed that he had been actively involved in Hajj operations for over 27 years, including serving as Ameerul-Hajj on a previous occasion, and had witnessed Hajj exercises under different administrations.
He noted that the level of organization, coordination, and welfare services provided to Kaduna State pilgrims this year is exceptional and ranks among the best he has experienced.
According to him, the successes recorded so far are a testament to the transparent, dedicated, and visionary leadership of Malam Salihu S. Abubakar, whose commitment has significantly enhanced the welfare, comfort, and overall experience of Kaduna State pilgrims in the Holy Land.
He also commended the Executive Governor of Kaduna State for his unwavering support, strategic guidance, and sustained commitment to ensuring a smooth and successful Hajj exercise for the state’s pilgrims.
Malam Abubakar further urged the pilgrims to remain law-abiding, disciplined, and prayerful throughout their stay in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, while serving as worthy ambassadors of Kaduna State and Nigeria.
Responding, the Executive Chairman of the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Malam Salihu S. Abubakar, expressed appreciation to the Government Delegation for its support, cooperation, and commitment towards the successful conduct of the 2026 Hajj operations.
He noted that the delegation and the agency have continued to work hand in hand to ensure the comfort, safety, and welfare of Kaduna State pilgrims, adding that the positive outcomes being witnessed are the result of teamwork, dedication, and a shared commitment to service.
The Chairman also conveyed his profound gratitude to the Executive Governor of Kaduna State for his unwavering support and confidence in the agency’s leadership.
