A five member delegation from the Kaduna State Government, led by the Chairman, Malam Abubakar Mustapha, paid a special visit to Kaduna State pilgrims at their accommodation located along Ibrahim Khalil Road in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, ahead of their movement to Mina for the commencement of major Hajj rites.

A statement signed by Ibrahim Datti, public relations officer of the board, said the accommodation, strategically situated close to Masjid Al-Haram, provides easy access for the pilgrims to perform their religious obligations comfortably during their stay in the Holy Land.

The delegation was warmly received on behalf of the Executive Chairman of the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Malam Salihu S. Abubakar, by the Administrative Secretary Malam Baba Rufai of the Agency.

During the reception, appreciation was expressed to the delegation and the Kaduna State Government for their continuous support, commitment, and dedication towards ensuring a smooth, successful, and hitch-free 2026 Hajj operation for Kaduna pilgrims.

Speaking during the visit, the Chairman of the delegation, Malam Abubakar Mustapha, commended the leadership and management team of the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency for their excellent coordination, effective planning, and tireless efforts in catering for the welfare of the pilgrims.

He further applauded the Kaduna State Government for its unwavering commitment towards the welfare and comfort of pilgrims, noting that the level of organization witnessed so far reflects the government’s determination to ensure that pilgrims perform their Hajj rites under conducive conditions.

Malam Abubakar also urged the pilgrims to remain law-abiding, focused on their spiritual obligations, and continue to pray fervently for lasting peace, unity, progress, and prosperity in Kaduna State and Nigeria as a whole.

The pilgrims expressed happiness over the visit and appreciated the concern shown by the state government and the agency towards their welfare while in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
