    KATSINA STATE BOARD OF INTERNAL REVENUE HAS RECORDED AN INCREASE IN REVENUE GENERATION BY 200% IN THE STATE.

    The Chairman Katsina State Board of Internal Revenue rAlh Mohd Aminu isiyaku funtua has said that tremendous success have been recorded in the last three years of his service as the chairman of the chairman of the revenue board.

    The Chairman disclosed this during a courtesy visit paid to him by the Amana grain sellers association Katsina state chapter..

    Alh Aminu isiyaku disclosed that the activities of revenue collection and tax paying in Katsina state has improved with over 200%increase across the state.

    He said although the process is marred with different challenges and sabotages from different quoters ,the board is able to scale through with flying colours.

    The Chairman explained that, previously state internal revenue is realized about 600m yearly as revenue,as of now the total revenue collected is 3bto 4b yearly.

    He stated that workers in the revenue board have strategies various ways to ensure the strict compliance with various policies and programmes adopted by the board.

    Alh Aminu isiyaku enjoin members of association to brace up and support the policies with a view to achieving desired objectives.

    The Chairman promised to join hands with the association so as to move the state forward.

    Responding the Chairman of the association Alh Balarabe Isa Bilbo’s said they were in his offices to discuss how best to enhance revenue collection with relative ease.

    He said there is the need for the association to contribute it’s own quota toward the development of revenue mobilization and building the communities in the state.

    Alh balarabe isa Bilbis also said that the association is solidly behind the second term bid for governor Dr Dikko Umar radda PhD.

    He then prayed for peaceful campaign and conduct of the forthcoming general elections.
