The Management and staff of Katsina Youth Craft Village (KYCV) have congratulated Prof. Idris M. Bugaje on his reappointment as Executive Secretary of the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) for 2026–2031.

Engr. Kabir Abdullahi K/Soro, Centre Coordinator, said the reappointment reflects President Tinubu’s recognition of Bugaje’s work in reshaping Nigeria’s Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector.

“Prof. Bugaje’s visionary leadership has strengthened the TVET ecosystem and promoted skills development as a pathway for national growth,” Engr. Abdullahi said.

He credits Bugaje’s support for enhancing KYCV training delivery and quality assurance standards.

“The Centre is undergoing massive expansion under Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda’s administration,” Engr. Abdullahi disclosed.

The Katsina State Government has invested over N4 billion in renovating and upgrading KYCV. The initiative aims to position the Centre as a leading skills institution in West Africa.

“With Prof. Bugaje’s continued leadership, we expect greater collaboration and innovation in skills development nationally,” Engr. Abdullahi said.

KYCV looks forward to strengthened partnership with NBTE to drive TVET reforms across Nigeria.
