Member House of Reps Bungudu/Maru Federal Constituency Hon. Dr. Abdulmalik Zubairu Dallatun Dansadau has announced the grant of Fifty 50 Million Naira project funds to communities of Kuyambana ward in Dansadau Emirate (Maru South Constituency).
A statement signed by the Chief Spokesman of the lawmaker, Jekadan Bungudu,Aminu Lawal bungudu said Zannan Bungudu made the pronouncement during a recent visit to the area which featured a meeting with stakeholders and executives of the five political wards of Maru South Constituency.
The lawmaker said the prevailing insecurity in the axis has subjected Kuyambana communities to enjoy less benefits in terms of project execution by his representation, hence the need to come out with a strategy on how to reach out to them with projects.
To this end, the Zannan Bungudu directed the stakeholders to form a seven-man committee that will design and come up with at least three projects plans requiring fifty (50) million naira funding.
“Owing to how you’re left behind in terms of project execution as a result of insecurity, you are requested to sit down and form a committee with representation from all the 3 zones of the ward which will design and come up with 3 projects requiring 50 million naira” Zannan Bungudu explained.
Abdulmalik Zubairu maintained that the essence is to ensure equity and fairness in his representation, pointing out how he valued the votes cast on him by people from the troubled and insecure areas.
Some selected stakeholders, party executives, youths and women representatives who spoke during the meeting appreciated the concern by the federal lawmaker and prayed Allah SWT to reward and uplift him to the position higher than the one he currently occupies.
Report says, aside from the 50 million naira project funds, the lawmaker equally doled out over Four (4) million naira welfare to the participants of the meeting.
