The state commissioner of Health,Dr Nafisa Muhammad Maradun announced this.
A statement signed by information officer of the ministry Suleiman isa said the newborn baby who was reported missing in Kaura Namoda Local Government Area of Zamfara State has been found in Banga Village after days of intensive search efforts.
It said the Zamfara State Government expressed appreciation to security agencies, the Chairman of Kaura Namoda Local Government, Mannir Mu’azu Haida, and the Kaura Namoda Emirate Council for their dedication and support, which led to the successful recovery of the baby.
The government said the cooperation between security personnel, traditional leaders, and members of the community played a major role in resolving the incident.
Officials also reassured residents of the government’s commitment to ensuring the safety and security of citizens, especially in healthcare facilities across the state.
The recovery of the newborn has brought relief and joy to the family, residents of Kaura Namoda, and the entire Zamfara State.
