    Movement set to deliver Katsina for Atiku, Kaita

    The Katsina State chapter of the Atiku/Amaechi Movement has vowed to deliver the state for the African Democratic Congress ADC’s Atiku Abubakar and Ahmad Babba Kaita in the coming Presidential and gubernatorial elections respectively.

    A statement signed by Abubakar Ahmed Spokesman to Sen Ahmad Babba Kaita Gubernatorial Campaign said the Atiku/Amaechi Movement is a formidable national movement formed by Nigerians of like minds within and outside the country to unseat the current APC led government in the coming 2027 general elections.

    Addressing the movement’s executive members drawn from the 34 local government areas of the state at the Ahmad Babba Kaita Gubernatorial Campaign Office in Katsina, the State Coordinator of the movement, Alhaji Sani Abubakar announced that the body has been expanded in scope in the state in order to meet up with its coverage and status.

    He stated that in Katsina State, the movement would now be known as Atiku/Amaechi/Kaita Movement.

    Also while submitting the movement’s introduction letter to the ABK Gubernatorial Campaign Office through one of the party’s Katsina Central Senatorial aspirants, Alhaji Surajo Aminu-Makera, State Secretary of the movement, Alhaji Aliyu Ahmad Kurfi said already, the movement is fully established in the state with 20 executive members at the state level who will run the affairs of the body.

    Kurfi further explained that there also exist 20 executive members in each of the 34 local government areas, one leader for each ward and five persons responsible at each polling unit.

    Responding, Alhaji Surajo Aminu Makera commended the leadership in the state for its foresight and assured for the full support and partnership of the gubernatorial campaign office in the discharge of the movement’s activities throughout the state.

    Makera, who urged citizens of the state to continue supporting the ADC, assured that Nigerians stand to enjoy better days under the ADC with former Vice President Atiku Abubakar as President and governors of the party in all the states of the federation.

    Meanwhile, the party has continued to receive various support groups and associations ahead of the official kick-off of presidential campaign on the 19th of this month, as released by the INEC.
