The Commander of Narcotics, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Abia State Command, Mr LC Nnadim on Monday, 10 August 2026 paid a courtesy visit to the Commander, 14 Brigade Nigerian Army, Brigadier General AM Dikko, at Headquarters 14 Brigade, Ohafia, with a view to strengthen the existing relationship and fostering greater cooperation between both agencies.

Speaking during the visit Mr LC Nnadim stated the visit was aimed at enhancing already existing synergy and collaboration with the brigade. He further emphasized the importance of enhanced inter-agency cooperation in tackling drug abuse and its associated challenges.
Responding, the Commander, 14 Brigade Nigerian Army, Brigadier General AM Dikko, expressed his appreciation and commended the Commander of Narcotics (NDLEA) Abia State Command, for his efforts and commitment towards addressing drug-related challenges in the state.
The Commander also made extensive inquiries about the counselling and treatment services provided by the NDLEA, particularly on how personnel of 14 Brigade could benefit from the agency’s programmes. He underscored the importance of counselling, treatment and rehabilitation in addressing drug-related challenges and promoting the well-being of personnel.
Highlights of the event include signing of visitor’s book, presentation of souvenirs and group photographs which fosters commitment of both agencies to sustain cooperation and collaboration in the fight against illicit drug abuse and related security challenges in Abia State.
