Lawan called on the wealth to do individuals to emulate the commission to help the vulnerable persons as it would go along way for peace and stability in the society to be maintained.

In his remarks, Mr Khalifa Lawan, NEDC’s Coordinator in Adamawa said, the commission is targeting more than 150 organisations to benefit from the food items.

He said that the items include spaghetti, cooking oil and rice.

He appealed to the leadership of the benefiting organization to ensure that it reaches down to their members.

In their separate remarks, the representative of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and Muslims Council of Nigeria, Adamawa, Rev. Victor Saje and Malam Ismail Modibbo respectively appreciated the gesture.
