In a colourful and dignified ceremony steeped in military tradition, Brigadier General SS Ahmed officially assumed command from Major General SS Tilawan, marking a significant transition in the leadership of the Headquarters Sector 3 Operation HADINKAI & Multinational Joint Task Force ( MNJTF) Monguno.

In his farewell address, Maj Gen SS Tilawan expressed profound appreciation to officers and soldiers for their unwavering support, loyalty, and dedication throughout his tenure. He noted that the successes recorded under his leadership were made possible through teamwork, commitment, and collective sacrifice.
The outgoing Commander urged personnel to remain steadfast and extend maximum cooperation to the incoming commander in order to sustain the operational successes and progress achieved by the Sector.
Assuming command, Brig Gen SS Ahmed paid glowing tribute to his predecessor for his exemplary leadership, strategic guidance, and invaluable contributions to the growth and effectiveness of the formation. He pledged to build on the solid foundation already laid while emphasizing professionalism, discipline, operational efficiency, and the welfare of troops.
The ceremony concluded with group photographs and inspection of Quarter Guard symbolizing a seamless and orderly transfer of leadership.
